Can you believe you just searched “I’m pregnant”?

Or some variation of it:

“I think I’m pregnant.”
“What to do if you’re pregnant.”
“How can I tell if I’m pregnant?”
“Should I get an abortion?”

You may have taken a home test. You may have searched for other related topics. And you may recognize that you’re still missing something - help, information, support, care. For more than forty years people in Tallahassee have been coming to the PHI Center for just those reasons. P-H-I stands for Pregnancy Help and Information. There is someone out there who cares.

You don’t have to go through this alone.

Find out if you are actually pregnant. During this appointment you will take a pregnancy test and talk with one of our peer counselors. You will receive a Verification of Pregnancy (VOP) that can help with your application for Pregnancy Medicaid.

If you find out that you are definitely pregnant, you have 3 basic choices: Abortion, Adoption, or Parenting. Our peer counselors can walk through these options with you.

We offer Limited Obstetrical Ultrasounds which allow you to see your baby during the first 6 - 20 weeks of pregnancy. We will require that you come in for a  pregnancy test first.

Sometimes having an abortion or miscarriage can result in mixed emotions. It can be difficult to understand them and how to process them. We offer support and healing through a time that can be difficult.

Guys, if your lady is pregnant, we can help you work through your decisions and feelings as well. We have classes specifically for you and have peer counselors available to talk to you.

There are so many things to learn and know about pregnancy and parenting. We offer classes to help you navigate this new journey. Plus, you earn Baby Bucks which are used to buy goods in our Stork Room.

If you are considering adoption, we have referrals for local agencies who are available to discuss what it might look like to create an adoption plan.

Need other types of help in the Tallahassee / Leon County area? We can help point you in the right direction for needs that fall outside of the care we provide.

After attending an appointment, you are welcome to shop in our Stork Room using the Baby Bucks you earned. Items in the Stork Room include diapers, wipes, baby clothes, maternity clothes, toys, and more!

The PHI Center does not perform or make referrals for abortions.
